Through musical co-creation, reflection and encounters with the local coastal environment, participants will collaborate with other young musicians and a female artistic leader to create new musical expressions inspired by the sea, emotions and climate awareness.

Sparks will fly from the very first note when the Danish Radio Big Band, together with its Japanese Chief Conductor Miho Hazama, takes the stage at Textilen on 2 October as part of Swinging Europe’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
This exceptional evening offers the chance to experience a unique musical partnership that has firmly established both Hazama and the Danish Radio Big Band on the international jazz scene.

PLAY!GROUND LIVE brings together a group of talented musicians selected by bandleader Bo Stief through national auditions held across Denmark. Selection is based on musical ability and social skills, with an emphasis on achieving an equal gender balance.
