Exploring sustainable touring for two young bands from Denmark and Germany

The pilot project H+H - Herning to Hannover: Empowering Youth Through Sustainable Touring is at the forefront of redefining the touring industry by introducing the innovative concepts of slow and deep touring - a sustainable approach to touring.

Slow touring makes use of slower, greener forms of public transport, while deep touring is based on the principle of giving back to local communities more than is taken from them in terms of resources.

The pilot project offers a new approach to sustainability, youth engagement and the empowerment of local communities in Denmark and Germany. By addressing the challenges of the music industry with innovative solutions, we not only contribute to the fight against climate change, but also support young musicians in developing active citizenship, mental well-being and social entrepreneurship, while promoting inclusion and diversity across national borders.
